Every love story has a beginning, from where you first met and from where you decide to marry each other. This lovely couple met at their workplace; like any other workmates, office mates, it all starts from being friends, and a budding romance comes up when working together, and these two are not an exception. This couple Christina and John shows how they loved each other by simply looking in each other’s eyes; when we were shooting their wedding, we can see the sincerity and love they have for each other. They say, ” a picture is worth a thousand words,” it truly is when two people love each other, it will radiate even in the photos.
Their wedding ceremony takes place in St. Claire Shore, by the lake. As they exchanged vows, you can also hear the sounds of the waves from the lakes, and it is so romantic hearing these sounds; birds are also chirping; it feels like these creatures are also celebrating with them.
Right after the ceremony, we proceeded to Blossom Heath Historical Marker in St. Claire. It is our first time seeing this place, and we did enjoy the scenery while taking photos; it is the perfect place for outdoor shots. The steel bridge, columns, and fountains add a flair to wedding photos.
We also took city street shots in downtown Detroit; they are Tigers fans, so they requested us to have few wedding pictures from Comerica Park, Fox Theatre and other buildings around the downtown.
Planning a wedding takes a lot of time, but this couple planned their wedding by themselves. After the I do’s, and with all the planning, the only left is the memories you created with your loved ones. So, always pick a reliable photographer you can entrusts your memories.
Lastly, of course, at every wedding, the most awaited part is the wedding reception where everyone can enjoy, sit with friends and family while enjoying the meal, dances and do some fun stuff. They have their wedding reception at Lakeland Manor, also located in St. Claire shore, MI. It is our first time at this venue; one thing that we liked about them is their delicious food; everything they served to the wedding is tasty, for photographers having this seat-down meal is a perk. After a long day running around taking photos, you feel relaxed and energized when you eat this kind of meal.
Thank you so much, Christina and John for having us. Kudos to all the vendors we have worked with during the celebration.
